This addition allows respondents to enter a Message Area much like a BBS and answer questions at their convenience. Invitations are sent, transcripts are kept, graphics can be shown on White Board, etc.

White board (top part of the screens) features links and graphics. Here you can also do a survey if you have surveys software already installed. The survey software does not come with InterQue.
Upload and show graphics online, either in the typing area or in the white board area above the screens. Caveat: You cannot *draw* on this.
Top white board supports: Adobe files, html files, websites, and Word and Power Point Slides saved as HTML files. Anything you can show on the internet can be put in this white board.
Navigating the top screen or white board area, does not take you out of the focus group room, but there may be some instances when it does, depending on the other sites programming, so have people navigate the top screen with caution or try it our first.
Requires that Apache, PHP and a MySQL database be installed. (Not the Windows version of SQL). Both versions can be installed with no problems if you do have the Windows version installed.
Ideal for a Linux installation, the setup most Internet Service Providers use. Can also be used in a Windows environment.
Written in PHP which is easy to modify or change if you chose to add your own features, keeping in mind that by adding things you might loose compatibility with future upgrades.
No client downloads necessary. This is a very important feature as many clients do not know how to install and installations can affect their computers. No Java. Very important.
Audio files and polling are not as yet available as built in features, but can be linked to in the top white board area.

Respondents assign their own passwords and user names so you do not have to assign and send out individual ones for each respondent. Their email gives them a link, they go and sign in and assign their own names and passwords.
Cost is for one license running on one machine, but you may keep a running backup copy on the same or another machine.
Training and guidance as needed on an ongoing basis for several months and after that we can be consultants if desired.
Help with installation. You would need a systems admin for your system. We would work with him to install the software.
Requires an internet connection and domain name if hosted on your site.

FAQ's

Q1. Is the purchase price a one time fee?
Yes, then you own it but you do not own the source code, as with most software. You are free to run 2 copies, one being a backup copy.

Q2. How many users (respondents) can we have on it at any one time? Is there a limit?
There is no limit on anything in the program!

Q3. There's a few researchers here who work together but all work is private, so can one researcher see the other researcher's work?
It can be set up so no one sees any others for anonymity.

Q4. Can you play a movie or flash movie file?
See no reason why you could not do that. the top window should run anything that can be displayed on a web page. Also should you run into any issues doing that we are willing to do minor revisions to make it do what you need it to do.

Q5. Can this be used for Focus Groups that run over a period of 3 days, where respondents are given one or several questions each day. Respondents can then login and answer them over time?
Yes it can be open all the time as is our demo right now. A good way to do that would be to have the top page as an HTML page with new questions and people could log in as they want to and see the new questions easily.

Q6. Could you comment on how your software would compare to a message board or a BBS?
Those are message systems. Ours is a live chat program and done in real time. Those are messages only and even if all are present at the same time only messages will show up and there would be that delay in communication.

Q7. If a researcher has 3 groups going at any one time, is there a screen where they can login to monitor all 3 groups?
No, but you could set them up in Windows as sized windows and watch all 3 at once.

Q8. If there is something we want and it is not there, are we able to develop it ourselves?You can but if you do it may not work with anything else we do with it and/or updates. Also you cannot makes revisions and then sell it, but you could easily change it as it is written in PHP and could easily be modified and we can add anything else you may need for a small fee.

Q9. If the client wants their own look and feel for each group room, can that be tailored? How?
That can be done by designing the top screen as an HTML page. You will see in the program a "Top Redirect" (something like that as I am not in the program right now) button on the moderators side. All can be done by the moderator. Links can be added to all screens, also graphics. Just upload the graphic and then place it where you want it when on the moderator's side. OR design an HTML page and place the link in the top window and the HTML page will show there.

Q10. Finally, are we able to arrange for a demo at a mutually suitable time?
Definitely yes and I would just go in and look around. The program up is not really a demo but the real thing with all of it's features. You can try out anything you want. Use the help screens. It's really very easy.
